1- The Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators—SCBWI, has chapters around the world. What is happening in your region? In Hawai’i, Tokyo, Lebanon or Mexico? Check out SCBWI website and click on Regions < Regional Chapters; select the region you’re interested in for the list of events in that area. SCBWI also organizes two yearly international conferences: during the winter in New York; during the summer in Los Angeles.
2- Asian Festival of Children’s Content, in Singapore.
